My one week stay at the Martin's family B&B was pure delight. The hosts Heather and Matt were warm and gracious, and made me feel comfortable from the start. Heather has a great command of the kitchen and serves an excellent and relaxing breakfast. Matt, the head of the household is most kind and attentive towards their guests. They will do their very best to ensure you have a great time.
The house is surounded by the yellow corn fields, which allows to walk or bike from one end of the field to another. The best part of all is the pool with spacious deck area and fun swimming during the hot summer day must not to be missed.
Every time I would come and go, I would receive the most warm welcome from the Martin's Children. Yes, they are so wonderful, exceptionally polite and always ready to offer a helping hand.
And I must mentionthis: the whole family are most amazing group of singers. I was so honored when I was invited to the family concert by the pool. I was so touched by sounds of music by Martin's family. It was the most memorable stay of my life.
I was looking for a place to renew my spirit and I found it right here at FarmFolks B&B!
My husband and I spent four delightful days at Farm Folk B&B. There is not enough I can say to describe the atmosphere and harmony that my husband and I experienced in the very short time that we spent at the farm.
Matt and Heather are the most gracious hosts caring for our every need. Breakfast was delicious and with a different fresh fruit mix every morning. Among the some of most interesting items were a CD playing beautiful music to soothe our tired mind. In addition a coffee maker was available in our room every day so I could have coffee even before breakfast was ready. Home made soap was one my favorites and the room and bathroom was immaculately clean, the decor is very comforting after a long days travel.
There is no doubt we will return for another visit.
My husband and I were fortunate enough to read Heathers diary in the Farm and Ranch Living Magazine August/September 2008. I always wanted to visit and our 25th anniversary provided the excellent time to do something extra special.
We loved the area, so peaceful and quiet, and their family was so sweet. The breakfasts were tasty and filled us up, no need for lunch!! I enjoyed helping Brent with the cows and chickens and just relaxing at the farm. I especially loved the pictures and sayings on the walls from the Psalms.
Make sure you bring your camera and appetite. It's a place we plan to visit over and over again.

I was looking for a quiet place to rest and read before returning for another hectic year of working in a high school. Heather and Matt were wonderful hosts, understanding my needs and providing the perfect setting.
The guest rooms are immaculate, a top priority for me. My room was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped.
It is also a safe area to walk in the country and enjoy the simple purity of this area of Lancaster County.
Heather gave me many choices, and prepared a lovely breakfast for me each morning. They are very considerate and have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. It is also a great value, because the price is less than most B & B's.
I spent my time under a grove of trees in the corner of their property, reading and watching the days unfold. I could see only hills, trees, butterflies and fields of corn. Not even a phone pole from that angle! I received the peace and rest I was seeking.
There are many things to do in the area, but I was content to soak in the simplicity and enjoy the blessings of this beautiful farm.
I plan to return regularly to this delightful place.
